About The Rambler
The first issue of The Rambler was published in January 2004 under the name The Village Rambler. What began as a primarily Chapel Hill, North Carolina, publication with a regional slant soon spread rapidly across the country and in 2006 became a national magazine of unique interviews and personal writing. Some of the highlights in our short but active history include interviews with Sy Safransky, editor of that wonderful magazine The Sun; Khaled Hosseini, bestselling author of The Kite Runner; and Kathie Russo, wife of the late Spalding Gray. We offer an eclectic mix of nonfiction, fiction, and poetry in each full-color issue, and feature compelling photography and artwork.
The Rambler is led by Dave Korzon and Elizabeth Oliver, who work with a small but dedicated staff in its ongoing mission to illuminate the world around us through personal storytelling and intimate conversation.
